Formerly the local Priests' Villa, this is a vast converted mill house on two floors. The ground floor has 2 indoor swimming pools, the larger of which is heated in winter. The bedrooms are set around the inner courtyard. The upper floors are accessable both externally by a stone staircase rising up to an open terrace and to the roof from the lower courtyard, or by using a separate internal staircase. There are two entrances to the farmhouse from the street. The main door leads into a nice relaxing sitting room area. Here there is a a stone spiral staircase leading to one of the indoor pools. The other entrance leads to the large lower internal courtyard which includes a BBQ area, and further leads to the other indoor pool. The kitchen/dining/living room with TV can be accessed via a stone spiral staircase here.

Gharb is a traditional Gozitan village just a few kilometres from the Islands capital city, Victoria. The house is located in a quiet alley just 200 metres from the church and is surrounded by many other similar houses of character dating back some 400 years and more. The village is set in a quiet rural area yet is just 10 minutes from some of the finest beaches and bays on the island and with many country walks available immediately from the house. The village itself has just one supermarket, one mini market and one restaurant but there is. For all other services and a wide choice of restaurants head for Victoria just ten minutes drive by car or bus. The local residents are very friendly and will extend a warm welcome to all visitors and English is widely spoken.
